Leave it to Kathy Griffin to accept an award in a bikini.

That's exactly what the star of My Life on the D-List did this weekend when she was honored with the Vanguard Award during the GLAAD Media Awards at L.A.'s Nokia Theatre.

Griffin first showed off her toned physique in a swimsuit spread earlier this month in OK! magazine. "I feel the pressure in Hollywood to stay emaciated yet fit," Griffin joked with us. "I need to stay a sex object."

Griffin also joked—at least, we think she was kidding—that T.R. Knight was the only celeb in Hollywood who was willing to present her with the award. She said she was turned down by Ryan Seacrest and Oprah Winfrey, among others. So what about one of Hollywood's newest lesbians, Lindsay Lohan?

"Lindsay [Lohan] and Sam [Ronson] should be given some award, or at least be presenting me mine," Griffin said. "Although Lindsay's certainly given me enough material, so I will send her a thank-you note for that part."

Meanwhile, Griffin weighed in on Jamie Foxx's recent less-than-flattering comments about Miley Cyrus. The always unapologetic Griffin thinks Foxx was wrong for saying sorry to the teen starlet. "I have a no-apology policy, so I think comedians should be able to say whatever they want and be as outrageous as they wanna be," Griffin said. "Let it fly, absolutely!"

The awards, hosted by drag queen extraordinaire Coco Peru and clocking in at over three hours, also honored Milk, Desperate Housewives, The New Adventures of Old Christine, YouTube phenomenon Prop 8: The Musical and openly gay bishop Gene Robinson.
