American Idol, Top 10

There may only be a handful of American Idol episodes left, but fans will have 50 more chances to see it after Adam Lambert a winner is crowned.

The American Idols Live! Tour 2009 kicks off July 5 in Portland, Ore.

The concert event will feature the Top 10 finalists from season eight. Yes, that means Adam Lambert and Allison Iraheta (no matter what happens in next week's double elimination), as well as the already dismissed Megan Joy and Scott MacIntyre.

As exciting as we're sure the tour will be, it's unlikely the shows will take on the drama of Wednesday night's sparing of Matt Giraud.

"Man, it was the most exciting thing," Paula Abdul told E! News' Ryan Seacrest on his radio show today. "Wasn't it amazing how the entire soundstage started clapping and chanting, 'Save!'? That was the coolest thing. It was almost like the finale or a sporting event."
