Cassie Randolph filed a motion for a restraining order against Colton Underwood out of concern for her safety, a source tells E! News.

According to court records, The Bachelor star submitted the request in Los Angeles on Friday, Sept. 11. TMZ reports that in court documents they obtained, Cassie accused Colton of "stalking" and "harassing" her after their breakup, which they publicly announced in May 2020.

Per the outlet, citing the court docs, Colton's alleged actions included placing a tracking device on the bottom of her car, showing up "uninvited" at her Los Angeles apartment as well as her parent's Huntington Beach, Calif. home, and taking what were described as "obsessive walks" around her apartment complex.

Additionally, Cassie, 25, claimed in the docs that Colton, 28, sent text messages accusing her of spending time with her ex-boyfriend, TMZ reports. She also alleged that the former football player sent her anonymous messages that he pretended were from a stalker.

It's not yet known if a judge signed off on the order.

A rep for Colton declined to address the allegations, telling E! News, "As this is a legal matter, we cannot provide any comment at this time."

Cassie's rep has not returned multiple requests for comment.

According to a source close to Colton, he and Cassie "have not spoken for a month, so the timing with this restraining order is very strange."

The insider points out that Colton has "has been in Colorado for a bit" but it's unclear where Cassie has been staying. Per the source, the two had been "shooting a reality show since June."

"Things got really tough so Colton pulled out," the source explains. "Cassie is still trying to sell the show. Her family is also in it. When they broke up, she tried to keep it just friends, but his feelings never went away for her. She did like the attention, so it was very hard for him."

At the time of their separation, both Cassie and Colton promised to keep the more personal details about their decision to go separate ways private. However, the pair continued to exchange social media jabs, with Cassie accusing Colton of attempting to "monetize" their failed relationship.

In recent weeks, they unfollowed each other on Instagram.
