Who's got better dance moves: Jennifer Lopez or Sean "Diddy" Combs

On Sunday, Diddy asked his fellow celeb friends to get up and dance for a cause. Posting on Instagram, alongside a Brady Bunch style video featuring his six kids, Diddy wrote, "Here's a story... of a man named Diddy. HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!!!!!!!! See you at 3PM EST today for the biggest dance-a-thon in the world!!! Raising money and showing [appreciation] to our healthcare workers!!!!! TEAMLOVE.COM to donate."

According to the website, Team Love partnered with Direct Relief—a nonprofit humanitarian aid organization—to support the organizations emergency response to COVID-19. As of April 12, Team Love had raised over $3,000,000 in donations in support of frontline workers. 

Among the many guests that joined his live stream on Easter Sunday were Kelly RowlandDJ KhaledLizzo and of course, Jenny from the Block.

While the two exes were dancing it out to Elvis Crespo's "Suavemente," J.Lo told Diddy, "I probably taught you that."

At one point, J.Lo's husband-to-be Alex Rodriguez also joined in on the fun and the "Love Don't Cost A Thing" singer shared with Diddy that her beau was his "biggest fan from the Bad Boy era." 

She added, while the two virtually cheered each other with some beer, "You and Mase are like his heroes, okay? It's like every party we do, anything we do, it's like 'Put on Puffy and Mase.'"

In June 2020, the music producer and his wife's We The Best Foundation partnered with The Miami Rescue Mission for Women and Children and Overtown Youth Center to support three families by paying their rent for one year. Through a donation, assistance and essentials will be provided to other families within the program.

The supermodel and new mom partnered with Bella+Canvas and Until We Do It to donate 50,000 non-medical face masks. "@bellacanvas @untilwedoitorg and I are donating masks and would love YOUR help connecting with incredible organizations you care about that are in need!" she announced on social media. "We have donated 25,000 so far and are able to supply an additional 25,000 to help those most affected. If you know of an organization that serves vulnerable, underserved communities and is need of masks, comment the name below and @untilwedoitorg will reach out for more info to see if we can help."

Russell Westbrook

The NBA star surprised front line workers at The Martin Luther King Jr. Community Hospital in Downtown Los Angeles with an Italian dinner from restaurant The Nice Guy. In partnership with Postmates and The h.wood Group, Russell and long time friend Milo Frank passed out safety sealed containers of Spaghetti Bolognese, vegan and gluten free options included.

Jonas Brothers

The music trio donates $500,000 to the Mayor's Fund for Los Angeles and to the Angelino Card program.

"Daytime Cares: A Live Event"

General Hospital star Laura Wright will join "The Locher Room" host Alan Locher for "Daytime Cares: A Live Event," a YouTube and Facebook livestream airing Saturday, May 9 at 8 p.m. EST. The variety show will feature performances and interviews with past and present Daytime stars including Maurice Benard, Finola Hughes, Michael E. Knight, Michelle Stafford, Kim Zimmer and more.

Noah Centineo

The To All the Boys actor and his non-profit startup Favored Nations partnered up with Sean Penn's disaster relief nonprofit, Community Organized Relief Effort (CORE), to donate over 1,000 KN95 protection masks to brave frontline workers in the Los Angeles area.

The superstar singer donated thousands of N95 masks for health care workers in Barranquilla, Colombia, as well as ventilators.

Cam Newton

In partnership with YouTube's #StayHome #WithMe campaign, NFL stars Cam Newton and Russell Wilson launched livestream series to help fans manage stress and conquer challenges during difficult times.

Jeffrey Wright

The actor launched the Brooklyn For Life! initiative, feeding Brooklyn's healthcare workers and first responders. Brooklyn for Life! has raised over $213,000 and counting via its GoFundMe page, with over 2,000 donors so far, and an additional $172,000 through direct donations to the registered 501(c)3 Brooklyn NY for Life!, Inc. 

Beyoncé

The superstar's BeyGOOD has partnered with Jack Dorsey's #startsmall to provide $6 million in funding to organizations providing mental wellness services, through a key national partnership with UCLA. This initiative is also partnering with the National Alliance in Mental Illness (NAMI) to offer local support in Houston, New York, New Orleans and Detroit. Personal wellness support will aid organizations such as the United Memorial Medical Center, Bread of Life, Mathew 25 and others.

Charlize Theron

The Oscar winner and her foundation, the Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project (CTAOP), and their partners, CARE and the Entertainment Industry Foundation (EIF) launched Together for Her to deploy funds and support the global fight against gender-based violence during the Coronavirus pandemic. Charlize and CTAOP are committing $1 million to COVID-19 relief efforts, with $500,000 specifically designated towards trusted domestic violence shelters and community-based programs through Together for Her. 

Drew Barrymore, Yara Shahidi and Dove Cameron

As part of Uber's partnership with Feeding America to deliver meals from more than 200 food banks across the country to those who need it the most, stars Drew, Yara and Dove are each donating between $50,000-$100,000 to the cause. Check out Drew's video message HERE!

Big Boy

The radio host has partnered with Nexx Burger and Tom's Jr. to help feed thousands of healthcare workers in the Los Angeles area. 

Troye Sivan, Kristin Chenoweth and Cyndi Lauper

The talented stars are set to appear in the "Stonewall Gives Back!" live-streaming concert, which benefits the LGBTQ nightlife community. Michelle Visage and Tyler Oakley will host the event, which will stream on World of Wonder's YouTube channel, WOWPresents, on Thursday, April 23 at 8 p.m. ET.

The Comedy Store

The Comedy Store is set to broadcast a live on-camera podcast event on Tuesday, April 21st at 5 p.m. PT/ 8 p.m. ET with to raise funds to support The Comedy Store Family Fund. The first episode will feature Whitney Cummings, Chris D'Elia, Bobby Lee, Andrew Santino and Tim Dillon.

The singer made a massive donation to the Irish charity ALONE. "We are truly delighted & grateful for the support of global star Niall Horan who has donated €100,000 to support our services for older people through COVID-19 and beyond," a statement read on Twitter from the organization. "Niall's generosity will help us support thousands of older people nationwide."

Khloe Kardashian

The Keeping Up With the Kardashian star is giving back! A source tells E! News she paid for groceries for some elderly individuals at various grocery places. Additionally, she also gave gift cards to grocery store workers.

Mila Kunis & Ashton Kutcher

This is not a pour decision! The couple created Quarantine Wine, in which "100% of the proceeds [will] go to a handful of charities that we have done homework on, due diligence, vetted out to make sure that their overhead is low enough to actually do the work they're supposed to do and their outcome is visible," the two shared.

Gwyneth Paltrow

The actress and wellness guru showed support for the healthcare workers on the frontlines of the COVID-19 crisis at Mount Sinai Hospitals by sharing dtx Flowcode technology as a way to help people donate to the crisis quickly and easily. Get more details here

"Growing up on East 92nd street in Manhattan, Mt. Sinai Hospital was always our neighborhood hospital," she shared on Instagram. "We have welcomed many babies into the world from its halls, including my son Moses in 2006. The hospital needs support as clinicians are caring for the influx of Covid-19 patients as well as searching for a vaccine."

Eva Longoria

Eva LongoriaDanny Trejo and more latinx stars are participating in the #AyudaEnEspanol challenge to spread awareness for the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) campaign. LULAC and Hornitos tequila have joined forces to provide the Spanish-speaking community with a Spanish-language resource kit, which includes information and assistance on applying for government benefits, the latest CDC and government updates, help for seniors, access to health services, guidance on applying for government benefits, job training and help tackling food insecurity. The kit is available HERE.

Ellen and her wife are donating $1 million to the All-In Challenge. Plus, through the initiative, she'll let one fan co-host an episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show with her.

The actor is helping with COVID-19 relief efforts by taking part in the All In Challenge—he'll give one person the Texas Football experience by letting them enjoy a UT game with him on the sidelines. "Let's come together to feed the hungry during these tough times," he wrote on Instagram.

The comedian is helping COVID-19 relief efforts by joining forces with the All In Challenge. For his part, he's giving one lucky fan the chance to be in his next movie.

The NFL star is raising awareness and helping out during the Coronavirus pandemic by teaming up with the All In Challenge. He'll give one person the chance to attend his first Tampa Bay Buccaneers home opening game. "Let's all make a positive impact during this time," he shared on Instagram.

Karlie Kloss & Snoop Dogg

Both the model and rapper donated burgers from Beyond Meat to their local food banks and hospitals to help those in need. In total, the company hopes to donate over a million burgers to those on the frontlines and those who are hungry.

Miley Cyrus

As part of her informal talk show Bright Minded the singer is dedicating an episode to the act of Highlighting Heroes. On Monday, April 13 the singer interviewed two of the doctors on the frontlines fighting against coronavirus. Dr. Oscar Maitas and Dr. Syra Madad also helped Miley in her efforts to encourage fans to practice social distancing and to offer hope in this time of uncertainty. 

Diddy

Sean ''Diddy'' Combs announced on Easter Sunday that he would be hosting the "biggest dance-a-thon in the world" in an effort to raise money and show appreciation to frontline workers. He urged viewers and followers to donate to TemaLove.com and according to the website, Diddy's Team Love partnered with Direct Relief—a nonprofit humanitarian aid organization—to support the organizations emergency response to COVID-19. 

 

Hilary Roberts & Jason Wahler

The Hills alum teamed up with the musician and her Red Songbird Foundation to launch the #GiveGriefAChance campaign, which will offer 12 therapy sessions to people who have lost a love one during the Coronavirus pandemic. 

Kris & Kylie Jenner

Kris and Kylie Jenner are helping healthcare workers by delivering hand sanitizers they produced with Coty—a major stakeholder in Kylie's Cosmetics. "The West Hills Hospital team is very thankful the generous donation of hand sanitizer," a message read on Facebook from the hospital. "Thanks Kylie!"
