Not exactly news that makes for the happiest of honeymoons.

Two days after closing for the season, a Fairfield, Idaho, area ski lodge co-owned by newlywed Bruce Willis' Valley Entertainment Group was destroyed in a fire early Monday morning, according to the Idaho Mountain Express.

Some employees were in the area but no one was injured in the blaze, which broke out at around 7:30 a.m. and had laid waste to the lodge and adjacent ski rental building by 11:15 a.m., according to Soldier Mountain Ski Resort manager Larry Davenport. The fire was said to have started near a fireplace in the north end of the lodge, but the official cause has not been determined.

Willis, who has a home in the nearby Wood River Valley city of Hailey, had reportedly been looking into expanding the resort—which would have entailed tearing down the main lodge.

There's no word yet on how the fire will affect the renovation process, nor has Ashton Kutcher done any twittering about it.
