It's been a while since we've complained about the blunt blond bangs trend, but a couple of recent developments have brought the issue to light again.
Nicole Richie is featured in the latest Black Book magazine doing her best Lady Gaga. The soon-to-be mom of two really does give it her all, even throwing in a little Beyoncé, but the whole thing just seems too copycat to really be as edgy as the mag imagined.
And then there are Christina Aguilera's new ads for luxury jeweler Stephen Webster, and this is where things get complicated. Sure, Xtina owned this look first, but once Lady Gaga took it over she made it infinitely more fierce. Which means it's now up to Christina to change her platinum fringe so she doesn't look like old news—unless the two are caught in a game of hairstyling chicken?
Of course, it's also possible the whole thing is just totally over and we're just getting anxious waiting for something new.
