Oprah Winfrey must have enjoyed the camaraderie that came from sharing the cover of her O magazine with Michelle Obama.

The first lady was the first lady to ever share the cover of the periodical with the TV hostess with the mostest. Now Ms. O is doing it again—with fellow daytime talker Ellen DeGeneres.

DeGeneres has been campaigning for the gig for weeks and, not unlike scoring a sit-down with George Clooney, her wish has been granted.

Oprah Skyped into Ellen on today's show, saying that a joint cover is "a fantastic idea. I was only sorry that I did not think of it myself. So I am calling to officially invite you on the cover of O."

The news was met with expected elation. "I am freaking out right now," DeGeneres said. "Now my goal is going to be for this to be biggest-selling issue you've ever had, because I want that to happen."

Winfrey was even willing to accommodate her pal's apparel of choice.

"I heard that you of course want to wear pants because I saw you in the prom dress," she said. "We will coordinate our outfits so we don't clash, and maybe I'll wear pants too."
