The fans aren't the only people currently in the midst of processing the end of one of TV's biggest shows ever.
While they've had a lot longer to do it, the cast of Game of Thrones is also working through their own thoughts on where their characters and others ended up and what decisions they ended up making. Emilia Clarke has spoken about a lot of her conflicted feelings about Daenerys' sudden turn and then sudden death, and Isaac Hempstead-Wright has even written an essay on Bran's rise to King of Six Kingdoms.
Now, Maisie Williams and Lena Headey have spoken about their one regret, and it's one a lot of us are feeling after watching Cersei die by falling rocks.
"I just wanted to be on set with Lena again, she's good fun," Williams told EW. "And I wanted Arya to kill Cersei, even if it means [Arya] dies too. Even up to the point when Cersei's with Jaime, I thought, 'He's going to whip off his face [and reveal it's Arya]' and they're both going to die. I thought that's what Arya's drive has been."
Headey also wanted Arya and Cersei to meet again.
"I lived that fantasy until I read the script," Headey also told EW. "There were chunky scenes and it was nothing that I had dreamt about. It was a bit of a come down and you have to accept that it wasn't meant to be. There is something poetic about the way it all happens in the end with her and Jaime."
Instead, Cersei spent the entire season standing at a window pretending not to be concerned about Daenerys Targaryen, and Arya bailed just before going to find her, and ended up on a boat sailing west.
Meanwhile, Jon Snow killed Daenerys and was sent to the Wall for the crime of killing the queen, Brienne was named head of the Kingsguard, Sansa was named Queen in the North, and Jaime and Cersei lay dead in the rubble of the Red Keep.
More interviews are still being posted, but for now, these are the best and most telling quotes about the ending and how the actors handled it.
