Can you believe it? It seems like just a few days ago we were saying “Are You Ready!?”

Now the 2008 Toronto International Film Festival has come and gone, yet it feels just like yesterday when we were rocknrolling on the red carpet with Gerard Butler and Guy Ritchie or getting crushed as Brad Pitt came storming in for his premiere of Burn After Reading.

Hollywood’s A-list were all over the city, Yorkville, Bistro 990, Four Seasons Hotel, Roy Thomson Hall, your local Starbucks…celebrity stalkers (aka the paps) were stacking out all the hot spots around Toronto hoping for that one million dollar picture. (Which probably would have been Brad and Jen reuniting…it didn’t happen)

If you were lucky enough to come out to some of the amazing films that premiered this year you may have seen Rachel McAdams, Anne Hathaway, Keira Knightley, Edward Norton, Viggo Mortensen and Evangeline Lilly. Some of my film highlights included RocknRolla, Coopers Camera, The Lucky Ones and The Wrestler (just to name a couple out of the giant list I saw).

The movie that everyone seems to be talking about however is Slumdog Millionaire by director Danny Boyle, it was awarded the People’s Choice prize this year and I can tell you it was a packed house when I saw it on the last night of the festival. It is also the film where Roger Ebert experienced something so bizarre that you have to read it for yourself.

If you were a party animal there was no shortage of VIP events that’s for sure. From This is London to the Tattoo Rock Parlour and of course E!’s own Spice Route, the DJ’s were spinning and the vodka was flowing (I actually prefer a Stella, but that’s just me). Pam Anderson, Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan and many more were letting loose until 4 am (yes a few places got the go ahead to stay open that late) but it looks like the party crowd controlled itself this year as there was no debauchery to report. (Where’s Nick Nolte when you need him?!)

I hope you enjoyed our coverage of the festival this year, Eonline.com will continue to have all the celebrity news you need so just keep it locked here. But if you love the glitz and glam all wrapped up in a nice little package then tune in Fridays as E! News Weekend gives you your weekly dose of Everything Entertainment!

Until next year!
