La Misma Luna outshone all comers last night at the 23rd Annual Imagen Awards, honoring Latino achievements in film and TV.

The Spanish-language flick, centering on a Mexican boy who crosses the U.S. border to reunite with his mother, scored a leading five trophies, including Best Picture.

On the TV side, Ugly Betty walked away with Best Primetime Program, while Carlos Mencia, Christina Milian, Cesar Millan and Heroes were among the night's other winners.

La Misma Luna, which costarred America Ferrera, dominated the feature side of the awards, earning trophies for Best Actor for Adrian Alonso, Best Actress for Kate Del Castillo, Best Supporting Actor for Eugenio Derbez and Best Director for Patricia Riggin, along with Best Picture.

As for the small-screen awards, Mind of Mencia's namesake star was crowned Best Actor, while Milian, who appeared in the ABC Family TV movie Snowglobe, took home Best Actress.

Best Supporting Actor and Actress went to Ugly Betty's Tony Plana and Heroes' Dania Ramirez, respectively. Plana also walked away with the Lifetime Achievement Award.

The nod for Best Variety or Reality Show went to awards show mainstay Dog Whisperer With Cesar Millan.

John Leguizamo, Jimmy Smits, Edward James Olmos, Jorge Garcia, Selena Gomez and Eva La Rue were among the stars present to hand out the night's 18 awards.
