Kristin Chenoweth, Neil Patrick Harris

Emmy nominations are in and, guess what? Lost is back on the list!

That's the word out of North Hollywood this morning, where Jason Kennedy and I were live for E! as Kristin Chenoweth and Neil Patrick Harris appeared at the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences in lovely downtown North Hollywood, Calif., to reveal the nominees. By the way, both Cheno and NPH turned out to be nominees this year, for Pushing Daisies and How I Met Your Mother, respectively, so good times all around.

Also nominated, by the way, was our very own Ryan Seacrest, in the new category of top reality host. Congrats, RS!

What was it like live on the scene? Mad Men had supporters in the room and got some hollers when named in the Best Drama and Best Actor categories. Also getting righteously deserved hallelujahs for their nominations, from both me and the crowd: Lost (what? I can mention it twice), Dexter, 30 Rock, Sally Field and Rachel Griffiths for Brothers & Sisters (Walker ladies rule!), The Office and stars Steve Carell and Rainn Wilson, Lee Pace (yay!) for Pushing Daisies, Chandra Wilson and Sandra Oh from Grey's Anatomy, and last but not least, crazy-brilliant Mary-Louise Parker for Weeds. In other happy news, husband and wife comedians Will Arnett and Amy Poehler were both nominated, as was Amy's best friend Tina Fey for her work on the redonkulously funny 30 Rock.

Cheno and NPH were hilarious, by the way, during the best reality competition announcement, declaring they ought to try out for the Amazing Race and both take a whack at American Idol (being the amazing singers that they are), and NPH volunteered to do a stint on Project Runway. Hee.
