Tonight's the night fashion designers, fashions professionals and all kinds of celebrities walk the many ivory carpet-clad Met steps to the big event where Rei Kawakubo/Comme des Garçons is the theme.
Selena Gomez's youthful Coach look was a definite favorite (to note: her incredible purple eye makeup) with her mini mini bag as the perfect outfit topper.
Then there was Katy Perry's blood-red, bridal-esque Margiela number which gave us chills it was so edgy. The star's dress had the most intricate beaded details expertly lining every hem.
So who else made our best dress list for 2017? Though we wish we could put everyone on it, there were some that reigned supreme (after all, this is basically a glorified fashion show).
