Kristen Bell takes her childhood hobbies—and hair—in stride.

Upon visiting James Corden on his Late Late Show couch Wednesday night, the Bad Moms actress revisited her younger years playing baseball with the boys.

The Frozen star recalled how she had been a fan of the sport and was fearless about playing on a male team.

"I was pretty scrappy," she told Corden. "My mother made sure that I would not take any flack from anybody because she gave me a real sort of disastrous kind of haircut."

Luckily, Corden had a blown-up version of the photo on hand and gratuitously shared it with the audience. In the host's words, the style was a bit reminiscent of Jonathan Lipnicki's character in Jerry Maguire.

"What she did to make sure I fit in with the boys was took the bangs past the ear, past the forehead, past the ear all the way down to the back, which I believe we now call a mullet," she joked. "I never had any problems because everyone thought I was one of the little boys."

It's clear the funny lady, who currently stars in NBC's The Good Place, has a keen sense of humor.  These days, she's even cut cursing out of her on-screen lift as a star on the show about—well—the good place.

"There are filters because everything in the Good Place is good and joyful and perfect, and some people are offended, and swears make them uncomfortable. So there's a filter in the neighborhood that you actually cannot curse," she told E! News

That means Bell has bid adieu to f--k and welcomed "fork" as its replacement.

"'Bullshirt' is excellent as well," Bell added.
