It's official, you guys...Tom Hiddleston and Taylor Swift are following each other on Instagram!

As we reported earlier this week, Tom joined Instagram for the first time, and everyone was very caught up in the fact that he hadn't started following his girlfriend yet.

Well, as of Friday, things have changed! The couple are both following each other, which we all know is a crucial part of any relationship in this day and age (of course, it will only become officially official when he posts a photo of her, though).

He's also started following many of his co-stars and colleagues, including Robert Downey Jr., who gave him a proper shout out on the social media platform, posting a photo of Hiddleston wearing that "I [heart] T.S." shirt from his Fourth of July vacation.

"Join me in welcoming the biggest T.Stark fan of them all to Instagram," RDJ cleverly captioned the pic.

Meanwhile, Tom answered several questions during his Q&A with Variety. While he did explain his decision to join Instagram—he said he'd been planning to do so for a while—he didn't really open up about his relationship with T.Swift.

In fact, the only time she was even slightly mentioned was when the actor was asked about shooting Kong: Skull Island. He said he hadn't been home in a year while filming that.

"I hadn't. I've since been home for a bit," he explained, to which the interviewer laughed, and said, "I think I read about that." Tom giggled in reply and said, "Yep. I've been home."

He continued, "It's funny—being an actor now—you have to be easy with traveling, because all the work, the most interesting work, is often happening in remote locations. Very little is shot in L.A. anymore, in New York and in London."

Hiddleston also dished details about some of the characters he's played over time. For example, when asked what Olympic sport his Night Manager character Jonathan Pine would compete in, he laughed.

"Oh Gosh, I don't know that he's quite fit enough to go to the Olympics," he said. "Maybe he'd be a middle-distance runner or something," which he says he'd also choose if competing in real life.

Speaking of sports and competition, the duo discussed how Hiddleston has been able to try a wide range of physical skills in his different films.

"I do feel like that's the unspoken great privilege of actors is that they get to learn all this cool stuff with the excuse that it's for work. I can ride a horse, and I learned how to sword fight...and various, sort of different forms of dance."

So what's one thing he hopes to learn in the future? "I don't know how to scube dive!" He revealed.

Do you hear that, Taylor? Looks like a trip to the deep blue might be next for Hiddleswift!
