Not many would complain about this early morning alarm.

In Wednesday's episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Britney Spears had a little fun with the late-night talk show host from the comfort of his very own bed. No, it's not what you're thinking; Spears took her pranking skills to the next level when she woke Kimmel up from an otherwise peaceful slumber with a private performance complete with backup dancers and flashing strobe lights.

The hit maker was joined by a crew of shirtless men in the wee hours of the night as she broke into the Kimmel household through a back entrance. Jimmy's wife Molly McNearney organized the sneak attack and ushered Spears up the stairs and into the couple's room.

Clad in concert-ready ensemble of fishnets and hot pants, Brit broke into her hit new song, "Make Me" as Jimmy looked an even mixture of shocked, confused and speechless. After Brit Brit and her dancers left his bedroom, Jimmy took out his retainer, put on a robe and met them downstairs. "Thanks everybody," he told the pranksters. "Everyone, back to Las Vegas!"

Kimmel is no stranger to pranks of this particular trend, as Rihanna got the comedian real good back in 2015 with her own April Fools' Day surprise

In her version, the singer arrived at 1:05 a.m. wearing all black as she crept around his house in platform boots. "OK, I'm going to go wake up Jimmy now. Wish me luck," she said before entering Kimmel's bedroom. She found the shirtless host sleeping facedown, before "Bitch Better Have My Money" started blasting on the loud speakers.

"Wake the f--k up, Jimmy!" Rihanna shouted.

Spears also took to Twitter on Wednesday to announce her latest album's release date. Calling it "the beginning of a new era," Glory will be out Aug. 26 via Apple Music. The newly released cover art for the album features a stunning up close shot of Spears in a lacy top and black sequined choker.
