Tracee Ellis Ross has been fortunate enough to meet many of the world's most famous stars thanks to her iconic mother, Diana Ross. She has met and hung out with Michael Jackson and has even made a name for herself in Hollywood, but one story that always sticks out for her is the time she met Prince for the first time.

The Blackish star appears on The Ellen DeGeneres Show Tuesday and opens up about that unforgettable moment.

"I was 12 or 13. Let's say 11, 12, let's say 11, 12 just for the giggles of it. I went with my mom and I imagine my sisters, but I know my Mom, to a concert of his and I believe it was like Madison Square Garden it was like a stadium concert it was like a big situation," she recalls. "And we went backstage after, and I was with my Mom and he was sort of mingling and talking to everybody and he came over and talked to us. And I was 11 or 12 or 13 or whatever."

Because of her young age, however, she was excited about meeting the "Purple Rain" crooner but not as pumped as her mom. Prince being Prince, he made sure Tracee would get an experience she would never forget.

"I was just like, 'Yay it's Prince!' and he went to walk away and he turned around and he was wearing chaps with nothing else underneath and his just bare bottom was exposed," she spills. "And I was like woo my God like as a child I was like, 'That's disgusting!' and I was like, 'Mom, that is so gross!'"

But her mom did not agree.

"She goes, 'No, that's cool.'"

Prince died last Thursday at his Minnesota home, Paisley Park. He was 57. "It is with profound sadness that I am confirming that the legendary, iconic performer, Prince Rogers Nelson, has died at his Paisley Park residence this morning at the age of 57," his rep said in a statement to E! News. "There are no further details as to the cause of death at this time."

An autopsy took place the next day, but according to the medical examiner, results won't be available for "several weeks."
