Two Critics' Choice Award wins call for a celebration. For Christian Bale, that means planting a few juicy kisses on his director.

The Big Short's lead actor took the stage twice at the annual awards show Sunday night to claim the award for Best Actor in a Comedy and join his fellow co-stars for the film's Best Picture win. On both occasions, the British hunk took a beat to share a few smooches with his director Adam McKay.

"That was just a lovely make out session with my wife and with Adam and with Charles," he said at the start of his acceptance speech for his Best Actor win after planting a kiss on McKay at the table. "We all really got to know each other very well on this film." Clearly!

When it came time for the Oscar-nominated director to accept the award for Best Comedy, he returned the sentiment to his fellow actor, engaging in another full-fledged make out on stage.

"That is collaborative love between Christian and I—don't judge it. It's what fuels movies like this," he joked before launching into his speech.

After sharing the love with Bale, he showed some affection toward the "people that lost homes, lost jobs, lost savings" in the 2000s house and credit bubble, which the film chronicles.

"You're not alone. We were paying attention," McKay promised.

We were certainly paying attention to those kisses.
