A source tells E! News exclusively that it's "more of a just a fling."
"They have a lot of fun together but don't know what will happen now," the insider notes. "They aren't thinking too much about it and are just having fun."
And that's exactly what they've been doing while vacationing in Anguilla and St. Barts over the last week, sharing several photos together while soaking up the sun on the tropical islands.
In fact, on Tuesday morning, the Biebs shared another snap of the two hanging out on the beach as he holds a guitar and she stands in front of him, pointing a finger gun in his direction.
While he did not caption this picture, he did post a similar one a few minutes later and noted, "Best environment to write music other than right after a heartbreak."
Let's be honest: if Hailey is helping to inspire new Bieber jams, we can't help but be a fan.
Meanwhile, Justin and Hailey decided to go public with their relationship after the pop singer posted a photo kissing the model while ringing in the New Year.
Another source told us earlier this week, "He loves Hailey as a friend and considers her one of his best friends. They both also have a strong attraction towards each other and this trip they have been having fun with their families, but also had some alone time. Hailey and Justin like to party and let loose and this romantic connection has always been there."
But despite their connection, they've decided to keep their relationship status undefined. "They don't have a label, but are very connected," the insider added.
Guess we'll just have to wait and see where this goes!
