The Crazy Ones alum shared a rare photo of her children, Rocky and Charlotte, on Instagram Sunday, which not only showed the family hanging out together (although Dad was missing) but also revealed her kids' faces. Gellar rarely posts pictures of her kids, but when she does they hardly ever feature their mugs.
"Today is an important day #kidsinthekitchen," she captioned the pic. "In my household cooking is family time, time to #unplug and connect. I treasure these moments #foodstirs #foodcrafting."
The mom of two previously opened up to E! News about her family life at the launch of her Crazy 8 kids' fashion line and said that she and her hubby "split everything pretty fairly."
"I mean, I think that that's how you have to raise children today, as you want them to be independent and want them to see in our society that there is no difference between men and women and go from there."
Even though this couple will stay forever young in our minds, Gellar joked that her husband often shows his age—he's 39—with out-of-date pop culture references. "He wants to know when we're buying our Trapper Keepers," Gellar recalled. "I was like, 'Sweetheart, you're old, we don't have Trapper Keepers anymore.' We're showing our age."
Although this summer has had its ups and downs in terms of romance, these two will constantly remind us that there is still hope for love! In honor of their 13th anniversary, Gellar posted a romantic photo from their wedding day and wrote, "13 years #happyanniversary I love you not only for what you are, but for what I am when I am with you. I love you not only for what you have made of yourself, but for what you are making of me."
