Kaitlyn, Britt, The Bachelor, Season 19

While Kaitlyn Bristowe and Britt Nilsson are probably celebrating their selection as next season's stars of The Bachelorette, previous alumni are none too pleased with ABC's twist to focus the show on two women.

Many of the show's alumni are sounding off on Twitter, slamming the network for putting two women in the hot seat. Season six contestant Ali Fedotowsky tweeted, "The more I think about it, I can't help but be upset about ABC choosing 2 #Bachelorettes. It's going to be so hurtful to both the girls."

Although Andi Dorfman and Josh Murray just recently split, the former Bachelorette star also sounded off on the network's decision. What started as a coy knock at the surprise decision quickly turned into Dorfman choosing sides! (Already no one is safe...#TeamKaitlyn #TeamBritt are becoming a thing!)

"I'm gonna keep my mouth shut right now ;) #TheBachelorettes," she initially tweeted, but then added, "I'm just going to be politically incorrect and mean no offense by this but I'm #TeamKaitlyn."

Despite season nine star Desiree Hartsock also taking sides—we're already predicting a fierce battle among fans and contestants—she couldn't help but make an important, feminist observation about pitting two women against each other. Although, picking a side does seem a touch contradictory!

"Not going to lie.. I'm a bit confused by 2 bachelorettes. Put girls against each other!? Don't we already get enough of that. #TeamKaitlyn," she tweeted.

No one seemed more upset, however, than Catherine Lowe, who was pretty much disgusted by next season's shocker. She posted multiple tweets expressing her dislike, but got over it as quickly as she got upset about it when The Bachelor announced Chris Soules' decision.

"Excuse me while I shake my head all night," she posted, but added, "And in a matter of seconds, we are distracted by the happy ending to the show. Congrats again you two!"
