Mike Tyson to the rescue!

The retired boxer, who is famous for his fierceness in the ring, showed off his compassionate side when he came to the aid of an injured motorcyclist last week.

According to the Las Vegas Sun, Tyson witnessed a horrific accident on Interstate 15 when a taxi driver cut off Ryan Chesley. Unable to control his motorcycle, the 29-year-old quickly went down and suffered broken bones and torn ligaments.

Luckily, Tyson saw the crash and immediately stopped at the scene to make sure the victim was okay.

Chesley's attorney, Stephen Stubbs, told reporters that his client was lying on the ground when he looked up and saw Tyson yelling at people not to touch him.

"He thought he was hallucinating," Stubbs said. "He thought he was in some other world." As soon as paramedics arrived, Tyson "just left, like some kind of superhero."

To thank Tyson for his heroic efforts, Chesley sent a personal thank you note to the boxer for his quick thinking.

"Dear Iron Mike," the letter reads on Facebook. "Thank you so much for looking over me after my accident. It has to be the most re-assuring thing in the world to have Mike Tyson telling people not to touch me."

He added, "I can never thank you enough." Chesley also sent Tyson a basket of fruit and pistachios that were well received.

For those wondering how the motorcyclist is doing today, we have an update.

According to Stubbs, Chesley will need surgery but has been released from the hospital.

As a fan tweeted to Tyson, the boxer can hurt you bad. But he can also help you good. Bravo Mr. Tyson and get well soon, Chesley!
