Sometimes, all you need is a little imagination and a whole lotta faith.

Emma Stone seems to have both after she made a strange confession on the Late Show With David Letterman.

The adorable actress revealed that she finds money on a regular basis, which she believes is from her late grandfather.

Confused yet? Stay with us…

"Well, there's a long family history with quarters," she explained to Letterman. "My [late] grandfather leaves quarters and it's just amazing."

The late-night talk show host appeared baffled, and a bit skeptical of Stone's claim.

"It's him! It's absolutely him," she added.

"I never met [my grandfather] but it's so exactly like that. It's such a long story that you would have to go to commercial five times and roll to a clip and then come back and I would still be telling the story. But it's him, you guys! It's him!"

And when quizzed a bit further by Letterman, Stone replied, "That's the joy of it, it's not a logical thing. It's a magical thing. It's like ectoplasm.

"I don't know how I segued into that but it comes up in the movie [her upcoming project, Magic in the Moonlight]."

Stone further shared that she's had several instances where quarters have "materialized" and knew in her heart that it was a sign from her grandpa.
