Calvin Harris took to Twitter to announce his recent breakup with Rita Ora, so it only made sense that the "I Will Never Let You Down" singer would share her side of the story via the same social media site.

"I don't usually address speculation but I've had an incredible time w Calvin,& i will treasure the memories," Ora tweeted Wednesday. "I've moved on from this topic so i hope people will respect that and do the same." She added, "Life can only be understood backwards but it must be lived forwards."

Neither Harris, 30, nor Ora, 23, has revealed the reason behind their split. When the Scottish singer-songwriter and DJ announced he was single June 6, he tweeted, " To address speculation - myself and Rita ended our relationship some time ago. She is a beautiful, talented woman & I wish her all the best."

Post-split, Ora decided to get a tattoo—and she shared a picture of her new body art via Instagram.

"We're gona be ballerinas when were 102!" the British pop star wrote in the photo caption. "@andacloud9 #iloveubestie @bangbangnyc free-hand drawn on. You beast! Love you my brother!"
