This reality romance isn't entirely grounded in reality. Kris Jenner and Ben Flajnik are the subjects of Us Weekly's Dec. 9 cover story, which alleges that the Keeping Up With the Kardashians matriarch and the former Bachelor have been seeing each other romantically.

In an exclusive statement to E! News, the businesswoman denies that she's involved with the winemaker, 31. "Ben and I are good friends," says Jenner, 58. "I think he is a great guy but we aren't dating!"

Flajnik—who ended his engagement to Courtney Robertson in October 2012—also denied the rumors via his official Twitter account. "Here we go again. Hey @usweekly maybe put a call into me once and a while for some fact checking," he tweeted. "Sincerely, #TheTruth." (The magazine accused him of cheating on Robertson with three different women in March 2012, which Flajnik emphatically and publicly denied.)

In fact, a source close to Flajnik tells E! News that he "was with a date the other night at the Brett Dennen concert. She was a petite brunette. That's very much his type."

Jenner and Flajnik formed a friendship after he appeared on the former's eponymous talk show in July. She later toured his winery with Kim Kardashian's BFF Jonathan Cheban, and they are said to be working on a business venture that will be revealed at a later date.

The two have also been spotted together in L.A. and Mexico, which only added fuel to the fire. "As for him driving her car and going to Mexico with her, he's very naïve," the source close to Flajnik says. "I'm sure he thought there was nothing wrong with it. He should have realized how that would look, but he probably just didn't think first."

Their relationship came into question yet again when Jenner and Flajnik were seen at a Kanye West concert in Oakland, Calif., on Wednesday, Nov. 20. While they're friends for now, a friend of Flajnik's could see them getting romantic in the future.

"I could see it happening," the Flajnik pal tells E! News. "He's been known to lie about this kind of stuff before."
