Tom Cruise is clearing his schedule for Mission: Impossible 5.

The 50-year-old actor will no longer star in the upcoming movie The Man From U.N.C.L.E., his rep confirms to E! News.

Before dropping out of the movie remake of the 1960s TV series, Cruise was set to play the lead role alongside costar Armie Hammer. Guy Ritchie will direct.

Cruise's official Twitter account also posted the casting news earlier today, sharing a collage of Cruise as his MI character Ethan Hunt with the caption, "Goodbye U.N.C.L.E., hello E.T.H.A.N."

Earlier this month, it was announced that Cruise would be reprising his famous spy role once again for a fifth installment in the Mission: Impossible franchise.

Cruise's next flick to hit theaters is the sci-fi thriller All You Need Is Kill with Emily Blunt.
