Because Kim Kardashian and Kanye West don't want 'em! Yep, the mom-to-be's rep tells E! News that the future parents are asking family, friends and fans to donate to the Lurie Children's Hospital in Chicago (where 'Ye grew up) in lieu of presents.
The hospital told E! News in a statement: "Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago would like to extend its sincerest gratitude to Kim Kardashian and Kayne West for their thoughtfulness and support of the hospital. We wish them all the best in the upcoming arrival of their baby. Funds donated on behalf of Kardashian and West will be directed to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Fund which will help care for the most critically-ill babies and their families."
This isn't the first time Kim, 32, and Kanye, 35, have given back to kids in need.The couple's been known to visit the Children's Hospital in L.A., doing their part to brighten the days of young patients there.
So instead of sending mini-Kim or mini-Kanye a leopard-print bib or Louis Vuitton rattle, write a check and help out some kids who really need it!
A new season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians premieres June 2 at 9 p.m., only on E!
