While we love H&M for our everyday essentials, Helen Hunt had us reconsidering the retailer when she hit one of the most high profile events in the world—the Oscars!—in a red carpet gown by the affordable brand. And when the actress surprised us yet again by revealing her elegant Oscars dress was also eco-friendly, it wasn't too long before H&M confirmed that it would roll out similar eco-chic looks in the months following the award show.

Today, the retailer finally gave us our first peek at its glam green line of party wear, the Conscious Exclusive collection, which is made from organic cotton, recycled polyester, recycled polyamide and Tencel. And in true H&M fashion, the looks are a mix of totally on trend and fashion-forward creations. Take the line's strapless dress with a stunning structural waist detail in the oh-so-popular black-and-white combo, or a flirty crimson number with girly-girl rosettes and a matching veiled hat (the line also includes gorgeous accessories) that will have you channeling your inner Kate Middleton at your next cocktail party.

For an even more formal affair, H&M's new line also offers gorgeous confections, like a prom-perfect strapless tulle dress that's just begging to make a debut on the dance floor. But non-girly-girls needn't worry, because the line also includes a sleek selection of sharply tailored trousers and sophisticated jumpsuits that are just as dressy as the frillier designs.

The Conscious Exclusives collection will be available online and in select H&M stores on April 4, but you can get a taste of the fancy frocks now!
