Ashton Kutcher's 12-Year-Old Prankster Admits to Swatting Actor's House, Charged in Justin Bieber Case

Minor who's suspected of calling emergency response teams to both stars' residences for no reason other than kicks has admitted to making a false bomb threat and computer intrusion

A little justice for Ashton Kutcher and Justin Bieber—and the LAPD.

A 12-year-old boy who's suspected of calling emergency response teams to both stars' residences for no reason other than kicks has admitted to making a false bomb threat and computer intrusion, the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office announced Monday.

A newly filed count of making a false emergency report involving a similar situation at Bieber's house, plus two additional felony computer intrusion and bomb threat charges involving a bank, are expected to be dismissed upon sentencing. But, according to the deputy DA in charge of the Eastlake Juvenile office, the dismissed charges could still be considered when determining his punishment.

The minor has been released to his parents' custody pending the transfer of his case to juvenile court.

The LAPD received a report of a shooting and possible hostage situation at Kutcher's Hollywood Hills home, on Oct. 3. Per authorities, only after dispatching considerable resources to the scene did they learn from one of the Two and a Half Men star's employees that there was no situation at the house whatsoever.

Charges were filed against the tween prankster on Feb. 7, which was Kutcher's 35th birthday.
