Katy Perry, fresh from her romantic getaway to Italy and France with her Pirates of the Caribbean-starring boyfriend, gave fans another look at their trip when she posted a cute pic of herself on Instagram Wednesday. Getting ready to pedal off into the French sunset, the back of Perry's dress just so happened to get caught in her purple-red-colored panties, giving followers a sneak peek at her butt.
"I know it's a little cheeky, butt... Cycling in The ile de re, France," she wittily captioned the picture.
While the two stars were vacationing in Sardinia, pictures of a completely nude Bloom paddleboarding and hanging out on the beach with the pop star (who was clothed in a bikini) surfaced. Almost immediately the Internet came out with their best "Rise" jokes, referring to Perry's theme song for the 2016 Rio Olympics.
Could he have been trying to send a message? Was he really caught off guard by the paparazzi? The world may never know, as neither he nor Perry ever commented on the pictures, but perhaps this serves as Perry's response to the Sardinian Snake Scandal.
Regardless, E! News came up with some theories to explain Bloom's intentions, including responding to his ex's engagement (Evan Spiegel put a ring on Miranda Kerr's finger), legitimately relaxing and more. Whatever his reasons may have been, it's clear that this couple genuinely had an amazing time on their trip.
