Lorde's Wax Figure at Madame Tussauds Is Pretty Perfect—See the Pic!

Lorde's looking a little waxy here...

That's not a faux-nice way of criticizing her appearance—Lorde looks waxy here because this is, in fact, a Madame Tussauds wax figure made in the 18-year-old singer's image!

Human Lorde was quite excited Wednesday when the wax museum's Hollywood location unveiled her figure. She tweeted out a photo of her meltable self, adding rather endearingly, "omg guys... it's my pleasure to finally announce that @MadameTussauds made me into a WAX FIGURE!"

She was quite pleased with the results—wouldn't you be, too, if you were depicted with cheekbones like that and impossibly perfect curls?! "it was an incredibly detailed process sitting for the waxwork," Lorde gushed, "and the team at MT were so passionate and skilled!"

When fellow New Zealander and producer Joel Little quipped it was "good to know" he could "just pop down the road" when he wants to "hang" with the Grammy winner, Lorde didn't miss a beat. Ella 1 (presumably) joked right back, "next time i'm in la i'll just borrow Ella II and arrange her relaxedly in her jacuzzi..."

Fun in theory, but in reality, homegirl would probably melt. It's probably best is Lorde stays inside Madame Tussauds, where she can hang around with all her wax pals like Taylor Swift and Jennifer Lawrence—probably even some royals, too.

To borrow a line from Aqua's "Barbie Girl" (which came out in 1997 when Lorde was only 1), "Life in plastic, it's fantastic!"
