Chris Evans' Oscars date was not—we repeat not!—his girlfriend.
During Sunday night's big awards show, the hunky Captain America star was being interviewed by Good Morning America co-host Robin Roberts alongside his Oscars date Tara. While chitchatting before the big ceremony, Roberts mistakenly identified Tara and Evans' "girlfriend."
"Oh no! I'm not his girlfriend," Tara exclaimed.
"No, let's clarify," the 33-year-old actor added with a laugh of embarrassment. "This is one of my best friends on the planet from back home."

After clarifying their friendly relationship status, Roberts laughed off the mistake and the trio kept on chatting.
Meanwhile, Evans walked the Oscars red carpet looking as handsome as ever in a sleek, black Gucci suit. The scruffy star flashes his swoon-worthy smile while posing for pics. How freakin' hot is he?!
