James Devaney/WireImageCiara received the ultimate birthday present over the weekend: a stunning 15-carat engagement ring from her rapper/producer love, Future. The R&B diva was celebrating her 28th birthday in New York City when the hit maker surprised her with a proposal.
Ciara, 28, and Future, 29, have reportedly been dating for a year. No wedding date has been set. The "Body Party" singer tweeted about her excitement on Sunday, Oct. 27.
"Today Has 2 Be Like One Of The Sweetest Days Of My Life! #TheBestBirthdayEver," she wrote. "If I'm Dreaming I Don't Want To Wake Up..Aaaaaahhh!!!"
Ciara collaborated with her fiancé on her self-titled fifth studio album, released in July 2013. Future hinted he wanted to marry the "I'm Out" singer during a radio interview with New York's Hot 97.
"This it. I don't get into nothing to get out," he said in August. "This is the one."
Future—whose sophomore album drops in November—has also worked with artists like Miley Cyrus, Rihanna and Lil Wayne. He fathered a son with ex Jessica Smith in 2001.
