There's always something.

Lamar Odom was sued today by a paparazzo who claims, according to court documents, that the NBA player assaulted him on July 10 after he approached to shoot some pictures and asked Odom, "Did you cheat on Khloé?"

In his lawsuit, filed today in L.A. Superior Court and obtained by E! News, plaintiff Stefan Saad alleges that, in response to the question about wife Khloé Kardashian Odom, Odom got out of his vehicle and grabbed a large metal rod that he used to hit Saad's car, after which he leaned into Saad's car to grab his camera and then proceeded to smash the camera in the middle of the street.

Then, the complaint continues, Odom put the smashed equipment in his own vehicle and drove off. Saad states in the suit that he followed Odom, to "retrieve the tools of the trade," and witnessed the athlete re-smashing the gear on Hollywood Boulevard "in a display that can only be understood as having the intention to humiliate Mr. Saad."

Following an investigation into the incident, the L.A. City Attorney's Office opted not to press criminal charges against Odom, though a court spokesman did say that they intended to schedule a meeting with the two parties involved.

Saad also cites Khloé's supportive tweets for Odom that she posted afterward as an attempt to "minimize" her husband's actions by "blaming the victim."

As a result of the alleged assault, Saad's suit further claims that he has been suffering panic attacks and "the onset of panic disorder."

He is asking for at least $15,000 to replace his equipment; compensatory damages of at least $50,000 to account for lost work; compensatory damages of at least $500,000 to account for his emotional distress; attorney fees and unspecified punitive damages.
