As New York Fashion Week officially kicks off tomorrow, we wanted to fill you in on what exactly goes down during this action-packed seven-day event.

The Marie Claire senior fashion editor and E! News fashion correspondent is certainly no stranger to the style scene, and she's buzzing with plenty of interesting factoids regarding the star-studded extravaganza.
For example, she reports that over 250 fashion shows and presentations will take place, with an estimated $816 million pumped into Manhattan during that time.

Other highlights include the Phillip Lim for Target collaboration debut (finally!) and the very first plus-size fashion show from Eden Miller. Pretty major, if you ask us!
