Oscar-nominated actress wears a plunging V-neck dress that leaves little to the imagination

The disco-era styles continue to steal the show on the set of David O. Russell's latest movie, American Hustle.

For instance, Amy Adams is the essence of 1970s chic in a brown dress with a plunging V-neck that leaves little to the imagination while shooting a scene outside a federal building in New York.

And, in this case, a hefty dose of cleavage would be about the only thing to steal thunder from Bradley Cooper's gotta-see-it-to-believe-it perm. 

Without even having seen footage of the flick, we're thinking that at least American Hustle's hair and makeup team—also responsible for Jennifer Lawrence's bouffant and an unrecognizable Christian Bale's comb-over—is deserving of Oscar recognition.

Russell's latest is a true-life story about a conman-assisted FBI sting operation that led to the prosecution of a several U.S. Congressmen and other political players.
