Clueless star Stacey Dash wants everyone to know she's not politically clueless.

The actress has taken to Twitter to defend herself against critics after publicly endorsing Mitt Romney—many of them pelting her with racially tinged digs.

On Sunday, the 46-year-old star tweeted, "Vote for Romney. The only choice for your future. @mittromney @teamromney #mittromney #VOTE #voteromney," and attached a photo of herself mugging it up in a Baywatch-style bathing suit—complete with ginormous life preserver!—in front of an American flag.

The response from the Twitterverse has been swift and sharp.

"Can someone tell Stacey Dash her role in Clueless is over?" wrote one user.

Another ranted, "You're an unemployed black woman endorsing @MittRomney. You're voting against yourself thrice. You poor beautiful idiot."

"Stacey Dash, black actress backing Gov. Romney. Needs some help," offered one tweeter.

Dash later stood up for herself, tweeting back, "My humble opinion... EVERYONE is entitled to one."

The star did have her supporters, including prominent women's-rights activist Sandra Fluke, who was a speaker at the last month's Democratic National Convention.

"So disappointed to see people attacking @REALStaceyDash for voicing her opinion," she wrote. "Disagree politically, but #racist attacks are unacceptable."

No word yet whether Luke Skywalker himself, Mark Hamill—who yesterday dubbed Romney a "snake oil salesman"—wants to chime in.

Bust out the lighstabers! Woom, woom!
