Sounds like somebody's in heaven.

Bryan Adams, singer of such '80's gems like "Heaven," "Run to You" and "Summer of '69" has confirmed via Twitter that he's going to be a first-time dad at 51 years old.

The Canadian rocker also thanked fans for the "kind wishes" he's received.

So who's the mom-to-be?

Seems Adams' personal assistant Alicia Grimaldi has been doing a great job attending to the singer's needs, because she's the lucky lady who's expecting.

The thirtysomething Grimaldi is the daughter of a surgeon, as well as a Cambridge graduate who helped form the Bryan Adams Foundation.

"She helped me start my foundation years ago, and it looks like she'll be running the family now!" Adams wrote on his personal website Sunday.

London's Telegraph  reported Sunday that Grimaldi is due in May. Friends and family apparently did not know the two were romantically involved in any way.

"Many of their friends still don't even know that they are a couple, but they are living together at his house," a friend told the newspaper.

Adams, also a social activist and a professional photographer who does editorial shoots for major magazines, is currently on an acoustic tour of the U.S., with a break from April to June. He will then do shows across Europe.
