Malika Haqq is enjoying every second of her motherhood with her newborn baby boy.
After giving a birth to a baby boy on Saturday, March 14, sources tell E! News that Malika is "over the moon and in love."
Malika and her ex-boyfriend O.T. Genasis announced the arrival of their son Ace on social media on Monday, March 16. Alongside a photo of her family's hands, Malika wrote, "Ace Flores 3.14.2020."
According to the source, the proud parents welcomed their baby boy at Cedars Sinai in Beverly Hills, Calif. and O.T. "was there in the room" ready to welcome their bundle of joy into the world.
O.T. shared a picture of their beautiful son, writing, "Ace. I love you. 3.14.2020."
Given the health concerns surrounding the coronavirus, the source also shared that "hospitals are being strict right now about visitors and unfortunately, only the parents could be present for delivery."
The new parents are also already back home, embarking on this new chapter in their lives.
"O.T. has been on daddy duty throughout the last four days," the source shared. "[Malika] is thankful she gets to spend time at home with Ace right now."
As for whether her best friend Khloe Kardashian has seen her baby nephew, the source added that she's "definitely seen the baby via FaceTime and is so excited to meet [him]."
The Keeping Up with The Kardashians star was over the moon for her best friend when she announced Ace's arrival on Instagram, "My beautiful nephew!!!! Ace, we have been waiting for you."
But for the time being, Malika and O.T are "practicing social distancing for now to protect [Ace] and remain healthy while having a newborn at home."
Malika first announced she was expecting in September 2019 and has been open about her journey to motherhood since.
"The reason why I was so excited to learn that I was pregnant was because I knew that my life was going to change for the better," Malika shared on her Facebook Watch show Side by Side. "The greatest blessing that I've always wanted but didn't know I was going to get, is finally here."
