Drum-roll, please...
The 2020 Golden Globes are finally over and there were many moments of surprise, delight and downright shock. From Taron Egerton beating out Daniel Craig in the Best Actor in a Comedy/Musical category to 1917 overcoming all odds to take home the gold for Best Motion Picture Drama, the awards were seemingly all about the underdogs.
As expected Phoebe Waller Bridge's Fleabag swept the categories as many predicted when she stole the show at the 2019 Emmy awards. Of course, the Emmys are not an accurate forecaster for the season's winners, but she proved she is no one-hit wonder by winning Best Actress in a Comedy Series and Best TV Series, Comedy.
In addition, Chernobyl The Sky original miniseries took home two awards: Best Limited Series and Best Supporting Actor for a TV Series.
