Ain't no party like a Joel McHale birthday party!

Yes, the Community star turned 40 over the weekend and hosted a bash at Redbury sponsored by Rémy Martin V, taking time out to speak with E! News. Per usual, McHale was quick to crack some jokes, including some at his own expense.

So who made The Soup star's birthday guest list? And who made a cameo in the interview to sing McHale happy birthday in Polish?!

"Who did I invite—or who's coming?" McHale jokes when we asked him who he invited to his party. "I invited Barack Obama. I don't think he's coming."

McHale's Community cast, including Donald Glover and Jim Rash, came out to support him, though "Chevy [Chase] might come…depends on if he can find the building." Also on the guest list? "The dreamy Misha Collins from Supernatural" and "Tom Cruise will be here later. He doesn't know it, but we're kidnapping him."

McHale's costar Danny Pudi attempts to sing "Happy Birthday" to McHale on-camera, but in Polish! Their costar Alison Brie also joined in on the fun and talked about her recent appearance on The Soup

To hear more from McHale, like what birthday gift he's hoping for and his plan for his 40s, watch our interview with him above!
