Will Lance Bass be a contestant on the next season of Dancing With the Stars? And if so, will he have a male dancing partner?

Veteran DWTS professional hoofer Cheryl Burke says she'd love to see the former boy band singer on the show, but predicts we won't be seeing same-sex footwork anytime soon.

"I don't think  that would happen," Burke said at Maxim magazine's Extreme Sports Party last night at The Stork in Hollywood. "I don't think America is ready to watch two men dancing."

Perhaps DWTS producers should push the man-on-man envelope...

General Hospital star and first season DWTS winner Kelly Monaco thinks so. "If you want to shock the world and give them something new, I think it's fantastic," Monaco said. "I support it 100 percent!"

Kim Kardashian continues to not confirm or deny that she'll be shaking her famous booty for DWTS. "I can't comment on that," she said.

Others at the sports soiree included Jesse McCartney, Scott Speedman, Tila Tequila, Clifton Collins Jr., Jodie Sweetin and Olympians Shaun White and Bode Miller.
