Miley Cyrus brought her best screen-siren impression to the beach Friday.

The Disney Channel-bred phenom drew a crowd—and the cops—to Malibu's Paradise Cove Friday afternoon while filming scenes for her upcoming Hannah Montana Movie.

In between takes, flocks of screaming young fans and scoop-hungry paparazzi swarmed the 15-year-old during her trips to a nearby bathroom, apparently taking any opportunity they had to get close to the tween idol. Sample the mayhem in the video above.

A server at the Paradise Cove Beach Café tells E! News that Cyrus has caused quite the ruckus over the last three days by coming in to use their ladies' room.

“She came in to use the bathroom and people just ransacked her," the employee said. "We were told we weren’t allowed to talk to her and we weren’t allowed to let the customers bother her, either."

(We assume she doesn't mean the way pirates ransack a port, but we hear Miley doesn't carry too many gold doubloons when filming.)

The scene created by the adoring horde and the inevitable shutterbugs eventually got so crazy that sheriff's officers were called upon toward the end of the day to impress some crowd control.

And by coincidence, a sheriff's helicopter was also buzzing overhead at one point, so close that one beachgoer told E! News, "I thought it was going to land right on the papparazzi.” (Matthew McConaughey fans would have been so proud.)

But still, the madness wasn't contained to the water's edge. Our eyewitness said that you "could hear the fans screaming all the way from the [Pacific Coast Highway].”

Today, Cyrus was shooting a sequence near the café in which she and a group of friends are hanging out on the beach playing with big blow-up beach balls while Hannah’s tunes blast in the background.

Then, Miley—clad in a blue-and-white Hawaiian-print halter dress—climbs a lifeguard tower toward the yummy-looking lifeguard on duty, only to fall backward into the waiting arms of her friends, who give her a boost, Disney-style, back toward the hottie.

In this particular scene, her hair was Hannah-blond, but earlier in the day she shot an oceanside scene with a brunette 'do, dressed in a white tank top with denim cutoffs.

Danielle Mainardi, one of the younger Hannah Montana fans standing by, told E! News, “She was playing around in the ocean with another girl. She looked so pretty.”

Another young onlooker named Talya Camras said that Cyrus gave her a shy wave as she walked by. “I’m her biggest fan,” the kid said.

The Hannah Montana Movie is due in theaters May 1, 2009.

Here's hoping the West Coast can handle it.
