Fear not, Supernatural fans. Tudo bem! Tudo joya!

(For you speakers of English, I think that means "Everything is okay! Everything is happy!" Though it could also mean "All bottom! All jewel!" so be careful using it.)

This posting is especially for all you Brazilian fans of Supernatural (and fans who know Brazilian fans) who have been emailing WWK HQ, frantic about a Brazilian blog report that had some jaw-droppingly tragic "news" regarding the fate of Supernatural and the desires of one Mr. Jared Padalecki.

Lucky for you, I just so happen to have spent the past year or so trying to learn Brazilian Portuguese through the illustrious self-taught method of "Vino e Telenovela," so I am more than happy to use my newfound skills to translate this for you and set this whole rumor straight.

The title of the article is "Exclusive! Supernatural Has the Leg in a Cave!"

Um...On second thought, I'm going to stop Portuguessing and ask someone a little more qualified to wax Brazilian. So, here's what a fluent Brazilian native says of the article: "It says that Supernatural is being canceled. There will be no fourth season, because Jared Padelecki is tired of the life of an actor. He says he wants to spend more time with his family and rest."

Rest? Tired? Wha? Jared is the freaking Energizer Coelho! Is there any chance in Hades this could possibly be true?

The verdict: absolutely not. According to Jared's reps, the CW reps and sources close to the show, this report is 100 percent false. (É falso!) Jared's reps insist he never said anything about wanting to leave the show, and further, according to the CW rep, "We have not decided the fate of any of our series yet." (Not surprising, given the strike and the fact that those decisions normally don't come till May.)

According to his rep, Jared just did a bunch of international press to promote the show, so it's possible something got muddled in translation, leading to all the confusion. Suffice it to say, your boy Jared is going to stick with Supernatural for the foreseeable future, so there is no need to worry.

In the meantime, please make sure to check out Supernatural this Thursday on the CW. It's a brand-new episode, and here's an exclusive tease on the ep from boss Eric Kripke for you fans:

"Episode 10 is about a killer who is able to kill people in their dreams. Sam and Dean manage to find a way to go into dreams to face him, and that’s where the battleground is. And in that episode, we learn the backstory of the character Bobby Singer (Jim Beaver) and how he got into hunting, in the first place. He’s always been such a mysterious character that it was a big, fun reveal to finally learn something about his past. We also have a big  change for Dean's character arc in that episode. Up until this season he’s been living with this death wish, where he doesn’t care that he is dying, and he just wants to squeeze as much out of life as possible. But he ends the episode in a very different place. That’s a very momentous thing for us, because he really makes a 180-degree turn in his character."
