Hulk Hogan may be going through some tough times right now—a messy divorce and his son having just begun serving time in prison—but you wouldn’t know it on the set of American Gladiators.

“He seems to be dealing with it fine,” says his Gladiators co-host Laila Ali. “I think his mind is in the right place because he knows that a lot of things are out of his hands. You just have to have a positive mind and deal with it.”

Hogan has even been offering up parenting advice to the 30-year-old Ali, who is six months pregnant with her and former pro-football player husband Curtis Conway’s first child:

“Hulk pretty much has said, ‘Just teach them the right things, lead them the right way and then you have to give them the space to do their own thing,'” Ali said.

Meanwhile, Ali said being pregnant isn’t exactly what she expected. “I wouldn’t say, ‘Oh, I love being pregnant,’” the championship boxer said. “But I will say that it’s not like I thought it would be. I thought it would be a lot harder and a lot more uncomfortable. Other than the fact that I’m big, I don’t feel pregnant at all."
