Basque Gets Burned

A former Hollywood hot spot where Lindsay and Kanye partied has gone up in a blaze

A Hollywood nightclub where Lindsay Lohan celebrated her 21st birthday and where Kanye West was spotted partying just last week went up in smoke earlier today.

Basque, at L.A.'s famed intersection of Hollywood and Vine, was ablaze for more than two hours this morning. Firefighters were eventually able to control the fire, but not before much of the building was lost to the flames. No injuries were reported.

Katsuya regulars like Brangelina and John Mayer are probably thankful the fire didn't spread to the popular celeb spot right across the street, which would have forced them to venture out to the restaurant's less trendy sister location in the Valley to get their fill of overpriced sushi.
