There was a recent feud sparked by Katy Perry's claim that the title for her song "I Kissed a Girl" came to her in a dream. Another songwriter, Jill Sobule, claims that Perry stole that title from a song that she wrote in 1995 of the same name. The songs are totally different, but the titles are the same. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that Katy Perry probably didn't steal this title from anybody, and I for one believe that it came to her in a dream...a dream about kissing a girl. That Jill woman needs to calm down. The title isn't that original, and I'm guessing lots of female songwriters have thought of it. Especially those who went to college.
