Simple yet striking, Viola Davis looks like a total boss, and it almost looks like a poster for a Quentin Tarantino film. It isn't trying too hard, and it shouldn't have to as Shonda Rhimes' name is far more enticing than a snappy one-liner.
Talk about phoning it in, this poster does little to inform anyone what the series is about, other than Tea Leoni stars in it. And could that tagline be more generic? Yawn.
While Arrow always went for a darker, more serious tone, The Flash, like its hero Barry Allen, is totally embracing its comic book origins, making for a—wait for it—electrifying poster. Come on, the lightning bolt effect is so. Freakin'. Cool.
Why are they all so happy?! Don't they investigate awful murders for a living, so why are they throwing out beads at Mardi Gras? What did they do to get those beads? Is there an orgy episode we don't know about? We. Are. Confused.
