Two days before Emma Stone hits the red carpet as a nominee at the 75th Annual Golden Globe Awards, we're looking back at the Battle of the Sexes actress' first red carpet interview with E! News.

Before The House Bunny, before Easy-A and way before her Oscar for La La Land, a then-19-year-old Emma talked to E! News when she turned up at the premiere of her almost forgotten film, The Rocker, on June 12, 2008 at The Palms Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Adorably, the now-29-year-old actress talked about being a teenager and still to young to partake in any of Sin City's big fun.

"I think Vegas is a lot of fun I've only been here twice before," she said in the interview. "But I am only 19, so I can't gamble or do anything too crazy."

In The Rocker, Emma starred as Amelia, a character she described as "sardonic and sarcastic and very straight faced."

Prior to The Rocker, Emma had gotten her big break starring in Super Bad, the sleeper hit that had come out the year before. Prior to that, the relatively unknown actress had done bit parts in Medium, The Suite Life of Zack and Cody and Malcolm in the Middle. She also did a stint on the short-lived and barely remembered show Drive, which only lasted for seven episodes.

Flash forward almost 10 years and Emma is being nominated for her fourth Golden Globe Award, winning last year for La La Land

In Battle of the Sexes, Emma starred as tennis great Billie Jean King opposite Steve Carrell, who played Bobby Riggs. On Sunday, she's nominated for Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy for her role as the tennis ace.

Funnily enough, Fred Armisen appeared in both The Rocker and Battle of the Sexes with Emma.

The 2018 Golden Globes will take place Sunday, Jan. 7, 2018, at 8 p.m. ET.
