Some movies are so ridiculous they end up being funny. But the preposterous and silly Running Scared can't even get that right. In it, a kid shoots his abusive father with one of Paul Walker's guns. Problem is, Walker works for the Mob and was supposed to get rid of the gun after it was used in a murder. What follows is a series of increasingly implausible coincidences, absurd plot twists and massive leaps in logic that will have you shaking your head in disbelief so much you'll get whiplash.
It also has more pointless camera trickery than a Marilyn Manson video. But the biggest sin is that it's just dull. It drags on and on and on and on...and on. We never thought we'd ever say this, but Paul Walker deserves better.
