Freaky Friday

Even if you remember this switcheroo story from the original (or the other zillion remakes and rip-offs), you'll dig this Freaky show. In a surprisingly fun and fresh remake, Jamie Lee Curtis is a psychologist about to wed Mark Harmon, and Lindsay Lohan is her teenage daughter, a musician who's underappreciated by mom. Some magic happens over some chicken chow mein, and their bodies--and lives--get flip-flopped.
Curtis gets a hip transplant and buys new clothes, gets her ears pierced and dyes her hair. Lohan, on the other hand, learns a bit more about mom. While the gags might be obvious, they work in wholesome ways that will leave you smiling. But more importantly, the ladies are obviously having a good time here--especially a spunky Curtis--and sneak in a bit about parent-child relationships, too. No need to wait till Friday, this one's good any day of the week.
